Each year, the St. Francis Foundation hosts very unique special events, including:

• Dr. Clarence C. Butler Service and Leadership Award Dinner, which honors physicians recommended by his/her peers to receive the award for exemplifying the same qualities and excellence in patient care that Dr. Butler demonstrated. This black-tie event will be at the Columbus Convention and Trade Center on January 25, 2011.
  
  
• Heart Truth Luncheon, aims to empower women of all ages to take steps to reduce their risks of heart disease. Make plans to attend the next Heart Truth Luncheon on February 11, 2010.
  
  
• Derby Day, Derby Day 2011 will be on May 7 in conjunction with the 137th Kentucky Derby.  This unique and exciting event features the derby live on big screens, a hat contest, gourmet dinner stations, silent auction, gaming and live entertainment. Proceeds from the event benefit the St. Francis Fellows Scholarship program for committed high school graduates pursuing allied health care careers.
  
  
• Bunco for Breast Care, Roll the Dice. Beat the Odds. The 5th Annual Bunco for Breast Care tournament will be on October 19. It's a night out with a mission and an opportunity to win fabulous prizes! Have fun with friends, roll some dice and raise money to benefit breast health programs at the Elena Diaz-Verson Amos Center for Breast Health.
  
  
• Free Programs on Estate Planning, The St. Francis Foundation has partnered with four local not-for-profit organizations to hold a free program on Planned Giving.
  
  
• Light the Spirit, Lights! Music! Refreshments! St. Francis will kick off the Christmas season with its annual Light the Spirit celebration the first Tuesday in December.
